Zaniglas over the year (Deutsch weiter unten)

The day dawns, a red glimmer appears with the morning sun, the mountains glow in the moonlight, a few shooting stars flash past overhead…

During the last year I have captured the most diverse landscapes in the Swiss town of St. Niklaus (in swiss german ZANIGLAS) and made them into a four-season film. With the time-lapse photography, the beauty of nature and its interplay over time is shown for the community. The shooting lasted from March 2014 to March 2015. In this case, over 65,000 photos were taken, 1500 GB of data gathered and 6 different cameras were used.
The film is complemented by the music from the Sam Gruber. The multi-instrumentalist made recordings with guitar, piano, drums, bass and various synthesizers from the studio at St.Niklaus.

Zaniglas ubär z’Jahr
(Zaniglas Walliserdeutsch für St.Niklaus)

Der Tag bricht an, das Morgenrot erstrahlt, die Wolken tanzen, die Alpenrosen schwingen im Wind, die Berge leuchten im Mondschein, Sternschnuppen huschen vorbei…

Während einem Jahr habe ich unterschiedlichste Landschaftsaufnahmen in der Schweizer Gemeinde St. Niklaus eingefangen und zu einem 4 Jahreszeitenfilm zusammengefügt. Mit Zeitrafferfotografie wird die Schönheit der Natur und ihr Spiel mit der Zeit in der Gemeinde gezeigt. Die Dreharbeiten dauerten von März 2014 bis März 2015. Dabei wurden über 65‘000 Fotos geschossen, 1500 GB an Daten kamen zusammen und 6 unterschiedliche Kameras wurden eingesetzt.
Untermalt wird das Ganze von der Musik vom Sam Gruber. Der Oberwalliser Multi-Instrumentalist steuerte hierfür Aufnahmen mit Gitarre, Piano, Drums, Bass und diversen Synthesizern aus dem Zaniglaser Tonstudio bei.
